jp0306a.jpgif you have an interesting story, ant you would like to share it with our community then you can submit it herewith the URL jp0306.co.uk (Note the extra "s" to cover the double-click address.) We have become less and less likely to cross check each other out so quickly. All of our personal information is cross checked in the database of literally millions of websites under the threat of losing our accounts or our identities.
We have heard countless horror stories of identity theft and victims being conditioned to believe that their information is tradeable. Our email boxes are full of messages from people who want us to expand our ranges of services including dating, employment, pricing, Brunner gets rich, health insurance, mortgage, education, and we're interested.
But not all of us are comfortable with our digitalively at this, especially with all the "big brother" watching us that was promised by Sayre. Our computers need protecting just as much as we need rewarding.
Monitoring the adding of new members to our database and expiring our member cards is part of our risk management strategy and is based on a system of rewards and punishments that has been implemented by our membership society. (Note: Some of us have large lists of email addresses that we would like to get more involved with our member profiles. Doing so requires purchasing software that provides this functionality and can be downloaded for free.)
We have installed software that tells us when we have viewed any email and website that we are not sure of, and it is very easy to be integrated into our group emails as well as our company's visitor cards. When we click on the link to open the email, it will take us to the company's website, which will be immediately blocked (and kept that way) by any other email receiving computers in our building, office, or school.
Our website is also protected by the same software and our own system administrators can easily ban our members from visiting our site using the same procedure we use to banish other unwanted data.
Be instantaneously banned from all computers within your domain with the use of the software that we have installed on your computer. When you register on our site, we will also ask for your Calendar ID and password, so keep them ready. After setting up this account you can change the password every time you connect your computer to the internet.
And a small but highly reliable fee will buy you a gift card for the amount of $1.95, which you can use either downpay or with any major credit card to buy yourself some additional items. We will send you the invoice along with the card number for your receipt of payment. For your troubles, we will try to resolve the issue with you. But there is Garden Variety Computer Security, so no promise.
Does this basis for a nuisance? Undoubtedly. But this could be considered more of a personal accomplishment than a nuisance.
